Business Analysis has never been this easy
Why the BA Toolkit?
MAKE BUSINESS ACCESSIBLE TO ALL
Business Analysis is a highly codified profession.
The International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) has created the Business Analysis Body Of Knowledge (BABOK) to support Business Analysts in their daily activities.
However, we must admit that it is really not easy to understand how to put these techniques into practice...
This is where we decided to create a toolbox that explains, through concrete cases, how to use each methodology proposed in the BABOK.
Would you like to have the BA Toolkit in your company?
The history of the BA Toolkit
CREATE WITH BUSINESS ANALYSTS
The BA Toolkit is above all the story of collaborative work.
In 2020, we're all stuck at home, and at CreativMinds we worry about how this is changing the way we work. It is no longer so easy to chat with our colleagues to ask harmless questions:
"Do you know what to expect for a collaborative workshop?",
"What does the acronym SWOT stand for?",
"Do you have examples of putting a SWOT matrix into practice?"
We therefore decided to meet other Business Analysts, to see if they felt the same as us, by launching an invitation on social networks. During 3 intense workshops, we discuss our needs, our lack of professional support and how we would like to be helped.
The BA Toolkit is starting to take shape!
WHAT YOU FIND
IN THE BA TOOLKIT
The content of the BA Toolkit is constantly evolving. Every month we create new content.
You will find the techniques organized as in the BABOK: by Knowledge Area.
You can also search for techniques by keywords.
You can log into the BA Toolkit using your Google, FaceBook or Microsoft account.
For each technique, we offer:
why use this method
how to use this method (step by step)
an explanatory video
document templates to download
tips and tricks
an application on a use case
31 techniques are already detailed in the BA Toolkit. These techniques are part of the 50 proposed in the BABOK. We are also adding techniques that are mentioned in the "Agile" and "Product Ownership" extensions of the BABOK.
Drawing on our experience, we also add techniques borrowed from UX or project management.
Annual or monthly subscription, it's up to you to choose what suits you best.
